Job Description:
Responsible for project reporting (e.g., status reports, project plans, budget, forecast to group manager) - Ensure the delivery of software products per plan in an optimal time, with changing requirements - Evaluate development requests to determine feasibility, cost/ time required, compatibility w/current system capabilities - Understands resource requirements, backlog and knows when to ask for more capacity - Analyze major project requirements and coordinate the creation of detailed design specifications - Ensure that all functions/organizations affected by software changes are adequately prepared and trained - Coordinate/manage the development process, including schedule, product features, functionality, and interface designs - Coordinate/manage through all phases of the development process - Maintain a working knowledge of analysis and programming techniques, including, but not limited to, architecture, connectivity, programming languages, standards, methods and tools - Provide technical leadership across project related departmental activities - Consult with requesters and development to identify and clarify development objectives - Work collaboratively with product specialists, program managers, clients, and management to ensure that functional requirements are thoroughly and accurately defined - Function as a resource to sales, technical support, SQA, product specialists, and program management - Manage the creation/maintenance of documents to support installation, testing, and operating procedures - Review/aggregate status reports prepared by developers - Experience with MS Project required -
