The Director, Information Security leads the establishment and maintenance of Asurion's information security and assurance capacity. This role works with decision makers of all applicable business and support lines. This role negotiates resources and Information Security objectives to ensure that Asurion manages information and information technologies in a way that supports the company's ability to exceed expectations in all areas of operation. The Director, Information Security ensures the streamlined operation of the Information Security department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual plans, coordinates, directs, and designs the information security related activities of the organization, as well as provides administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the Information Security department. This person also defines and implements security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices. Responsibilities: The Director, Information Security will: • Ensure that the Information Security team effectively addresses the information security needs of Asurion and evolves as appropriate to accommodate changes in the business environment •
