Job Description:
This position functions under general supervision using considerable initiative within guidelines received from the Director of Global Operations and Infrastructure. They will plan, organize, and direct the activities required to install and support network infrastructure to meet the technology needs of the company. Functions: Ensure that all firewalls, routers, switches, access points, and all other network equipment and circuits are properly and consistently architected, implemented, monitored, and maintained to company standards Ensure content filtering, network monitoring, and security information management tools Manage departmental budget and relationships with partners and vendors to ensure the best service for the organization at the best price Manage the activities of Direct Reports in support of IT needs of the company Lead people by coaching and mentoring in career development, training, and performance The IT Systems supported by the Supervisor of Network and Security Operations are mission critical and have a profound impact upon the daily functions and operations of the business. Creation of and adherence to documented and established procedures is vital to maintaining system up-time, performance, and reducing the problem resolution time frame Required Skills: Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of best practices and procedures to provide a stable environment. Problem resolution techniques and sound judgment are critical skills for this position.
