Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Will provide broad and specific marketing and/or publications support to the School's key academic programs and other programs requiring promotional assistance to carry out their missions. - Lead, plan, support, and execute the advertising part of the marketing campaigns for the academic programs and other units in the Haas School of Business. - Receive guidance in terms of overall goals and objectives from the Office of Marketing and Communications, as well as academic programs and other units in the Haas School of Business. - Develop specific plans and recommendations, offer advice, and participate in discussions on best methods for attaining goals. - Develop a detailed budget and perform complex duties to execute the plans using independently developed procedures. - Supervise and develop effective working relationships with large numbers of vendors, including advertising representatives, advertising agency officials, graphic artists, and other free lancers, and supervise student assistants. - Work with the Haas School of Business' clients to assess promotional needs, and develop a marketing strategy in accordance with the School's and the programs' overall marketing goals.
