Job Description:
Our client is a multinational designing/building consulting firm, providing a full-scale multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental and construction services worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Handle higher education, healthcare, utility plant and industrial projects
2) Serve as a Technical Manager on projects, including designing central heating and cooling plants
3) Design campus-type utility distribution systems
4) Handle power plant refurbishment projects, cogeneration studies and design implementation, central plant energy optimization projects as well as building mechanical systems
5) Make cost estimates
6) Handle conceptual plant designing
7) Coordinate between engineering disciplines and clients
8) Prepare specifications for equipment and systems
9) Supervise technicians and EIT engineers
10) Prepare reports
11) Review design computations
12) Determine code requirements
13) Review drawings and technical specifications
Job Requirements:
1) BS in Mechanical Engineering
2) PE license
3) 10+ years of relevant experience in utility plants, central heating and chilled-water plants as well as utility distribution systems
4) Technical knowledge of chillers, boilers, turbines, pumps, fans, engines, high-temperature hot-water heating installations and high-temperature hot water and steam-piping systems
5) Project development experience a plus
6) Excellent communication and organizational skills
7) Willingness to travel
