Job Description:
Project Manager
We are seeking a full-time project manager based in Akron, OH. The project manager will be responsible for managing projects for various state and local clients. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial, opportunistic and skilled at marshalling resources to staff projects. The successful candidate is needed to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary infrastructure team. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Planning, organizing and managing projects to achieve successful performance consistent with agreements
* Maintain safety, quality, budget, schedule and client satisfaction
* Document project progress through quality control inspections, field logs, photographs, records, communication, meeting minutes, etc.
* Aggressively pursue project completion milestones and cost control
* Ensure project reports meet client and company standards for quality
* Knowledge of Federal Project Development Process
* Supervision of other engineers and technicians
* Management of roadway department
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
* Minimum years of experience: 15
* Education required: Bachelors degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
* Education: Master’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, a plus
* Registrations/Certifications required: PE
* Registrations/Certifications preferred: Additional State PE registrations
* Special considerations, specific technical experience, skills, etc.: Project management experience, supervisory experience, roadway design, traffic engineering including signals, safety studies and interchange modification studies.
* This position may require travel.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does manage others
