Job Description:
Seeking a technical writer capable of performing well in a faced-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must be capable of learning detailed, technical issues very quickly by collaborating with a number of teams during the product development process. The technical writer will work closely with the technical support, Project Management, Product Development teams in order to learn new functionality and issues. They must also successfully communicate new developments and issues to our customers and internal teams.
Job Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Compiling new information into user guides
• Reviewing release notes for publication
• Compiling a best practices guide through interaction with Sales Engineers.
• Maintaining our public knowledge base by collaborating with the Support Team
The candidate for this position must also be capable of initiating their own projects and be willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or other technical majors preferred but not required)
• Strong background in writing with excellent editing and proofreading skills
• 2 to 3 years of experience with technical documentation
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects to meet rigorous deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
