This role is responsible to work closely with the Senior Manager of Program Services in a partnership with the divisions to ship a balanced localized product portfolio that achieves business goals. The Project Services Senior Manager will be expected to maintain a high-level perspective that will keep the projects focused on the future and on established goals while also seamlessly navigating the changes that each project undergoes throughout the release process. Direct and manage the activities of the Project Management teams to produce high quality localized releases on schedule and on budget. Responsible for the management and development of a direct staff and an overall team of 40 Autodesk employees with significant additional contract resources in multiple functional and geographic areas. Establish and communicate best practices for requirements analysis. Evaluate risks and create contingency plans to meet project deadlines. Define and implement organization objectives for the team. Play a leading role in the development of upstream initiatives to improve internal efficiencies. Direct teams to develop detailed project plans including schedule and resource requirements. Lead and inform on tools, techniques and methods for localization program and project management tasks. Select, develop, and build a global team. Recruit resources, define and implement staff development projects and programs. Provide ongoing feedback/coaching, training and development. Forecast staff resource needs in support of corporate and divisional strategic goals.
