Pipeline Design / Project Engineer Gas & Oil Industry
Shorewood, IL
We have an immediate opening in our Shorewood, IL office for a Pipeline Engineer. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with clients on oil and gas pipeline, pumping / compressor stations, and storage facility projects.
Job Duties include:
Conceptual thru final design of pipelines and related facilities
Mechanical integrity: in-line inspection, rehabilitation and hydrostatic pressure testing.
Construction documents
Construction administration
Cost estimating
Material specifications
Project management
Supervisory / mentoring responsibilities
Specific Requirements include:
BS in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
5 - 10 plus years of experience with some or all of the above job duties
Ability to interpret and apply DOT, API, ANSI / ASME and owner regulations, codes and standards.
Field experience in troubleshooting facilities and overseeing construction
Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project Great communication and client relationship skills
Operations and Maintenance experience
On-site construction experience
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Great communication and client relationship skills
Must be willing to travel and have a valid drivers license
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer
