Job Description:
The right candidate for this position will participate in the design and implementation of core media and networking technology on a consumer media device. Your ideas can have an immediate, positive impact on the success of our fast-moving, tight-knit team. Skills and Attributes: 4+ years of experience with C/C++. (C++ experience is necessary) Experience writing multi-threaded application software for embedded systems. Experience with optimization and performance tuning on embedded systems. In-depth understanding, such as working knowledge of the scheduler, threading, memory management, file systems, device drivers and system logging. Determined and skilled in debugging issues. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work in fast-paced, high-performance development environment. Flexible and team-oriented. Experience working on a consumer media device. Experience with and contributing to open source Linux projects is a strong plus. Use of good design and testing practices, including design documentation, automation, and unit tests.
