Responsible for project execution to achieve project specific success criteria (including schedule, budget and operational outcomes) during installation and startup phases- Formal engineering or technical degree is not mandatory, although direct involvement and knowledge of materials, methods and tools in the construction or repair of systems and equipment in a central station power plant environment are essential- Unyielding commitment to a culture of safety- Ability to manage multiple contractors through disciplined organization and efficient erection methods- Knowledge of methods involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources is a must- Knowledge of environmental regulations and limitations- Teamwork and communication skills- Planning skills- Sense of urgency in the face of important issues and opportunities- Ability to make timely decisions and to know which issues need to be bounced up the ladder- Ability to identify problems before they are problems, and the drive to solve them- Knowledge of modern construction practices and engineering design- Conflict management skills- Uncompromising commitment to quality construction, workplace safety and environmental stewardship- Understanding of functional organizations within the power plant hierarchy-
