Job Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Oversees, reviews and provides continual guidance to direct reports to ensure compliance with facility standards and regulatory mandates, and to ensure that competitive fair-market pricing is considered when buying services or products.2. Interacts directly with the senior administrative group of each facility to ensure that support services are delivered effectively and efficiently.3. Provides budgetary assistance to hospital Directors and hospital Administrators, in preparation for each year's capital budget process.4. Supervises, evaluates and manages day-to-day department operations, and promotes continuous process improvement.5. Ensures safe care to patients by adhering to policies, procedures and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity and accuracy of practice.6. Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports demand-based goals, which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less-experienced staff.
