This includes assisting in the management of the design team work and conducting meetings with multi-departmental teams to identify and/or present pertinent issues requiring an action or decision. In the pre-construction phases, you will assist in preparing, disseminating and analyzing bid packages to insure their quality, completeness and comparative value. During the construction phases, you will assist in entering contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers according to AvalonBay policy and procedures. This includes ensuring the integrity of Quality Standards, Schedule Reliability and Budget control. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and 2+ years experience in the field of construction. We are seeking a professional with a solid foundation of technical knowledge and analytical business management. Strong computer skills are also required. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partake in an aggressive succession plan and work with seasoned Project Managers within the company.
