Job Description:
Responsible for managing the day to day rehab and construction management projects for a portfolio consisting of apartment projects and commercial buildings to ensure the maintenance, sub-contractors and vendor management standards are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. Works in cooperation with site staffing, ownership and service contractors. Responsible for portfolio issues to include Construction Management strategy, vendor relations, team building and other key contractual strategies. Principal Duties: • Ensure that all facilities within the portfolio are operated and maintained in a cost effective and safe condition in accordance with an approved budget and owner requirements. • Interface with the owner regarding direction of financial and contract strategies for the portfolio. • Recommend solutions and implement appropriate corrective action for major or complex maintenance issues. • Review and approve all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials and additional contract requirements. • Communicate operating philosophy, objectives, and expectations to site personnel in a continuing effort to build the site team. • Manage, direct, and schedule long range activities for a portfolio and ensure all programs and procedures of the site maintenance staff are being properly implemented. •
