Job Description:
This job is based in our Berlin, VT office. Job Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to run ad-hoc reports using claim processing system data. Strong ability to examine and document work processes, identify and recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, and build procedures to ensure that successful results will be replicated. Strong ability to review project plans, write business requirements, project the impact of projects, create positive and negative testing scenarios, and document output. Advanced communication skills with the ability to communicate independent decisions clearly and confidently. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to address and resolve conflicts. Proficient at making independent decisions based on written procedures, departmental standards, and good judgment. Strong ability to exercise good judgment and be accountable for making independent decisions based on written procedures and departmental standards. This position requires proficiency building commitment and motivation in others toward the achievement of shared goals by effectively staffing, delegating and empowering, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and taking corrective action when appropriate. Ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. Education Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent, with three to five years of customer service experience in the health care and/or insurance field is required.
