Primary Responsibilities: Provide expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorize the appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review. Conduct data entry and re-work; analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary. Manage and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors. Impact of work is most often at the local level. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 5 years management of a Life and Life Waiver team is required. 3 - 5 years experience using project management & risk management skills required. 2+ years experience dealing with performance development and performance management required. 1+ year computer skills (Word and Excel) required. Desire to train and mentor team members is preferred. Project management background is preferred. Reinsurance experience, technical proficiency in Group and/or individual disability and process management for disability claims are preferred.
