Job Description:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower pay band or equivalent under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. Knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, policies, procedures, and laws sufficient to insure that routine work is in compliance with applicable legal standards and other requirements. Knowledge of vegetation, soils and hydrology sufficient to verify the accuracy of wetland determinations and evaluate routine environmental mitigation proposals. Knowledge of oral and written communications concerning procedures and the status of specific applications. The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement. Your pay will be set within the range specified in this vacancy announcement and will be based on your qualification, education, experience, training, and availability of funds.
