PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist the Operations Manager in managing the office; to manage daily office operations, training staff, assuring compliance to company standards, industry best practices and client service requirements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts training for users and clients on the application system on an as-needed basis. Ensures that overall policies and procedures for claims management in the unit are followed so that the unit meets service standards, state statutes/regulations, disability plan document, industry best practices and client service requirements. Establishes and maintains client contacts. Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service. Travels as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. Assists with interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions. Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. Qualifications Education & Licensing: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required. Experience: Four (4) years of claims management experience required One (1) year supervisory experience required.
