Job Description:
Manage and lead regional business development activities to drive new revenue in audio and video localization services--including translation, subtitling, dubbing and graphic editingCreate effective approaches to closing new businessProvide customer support; manage client expectations in conjunction with the media production departmentUnderstand the capability, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's media servicesIn coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunitiesSupport local sales efforts throughout the USWork with media production team to ensure that all project parameters are clearly defined and metAnalyze client requests and provide media planning solutionsEvaluate research regarding new market trends to recommend strategy adjustments and procurement of new technologies and vendorsIdentify individual organizations to focus sales activities; develop new client and vendor relationships via cold calling, the Internet, and trade showsManage and control pricing and contractual issues Requirements Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalentExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal)A minimum of two years of sales experienceProven sales life cycle experience - lead generation through business closingProven track record in achieving sales targetsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skillsExperience with audio and video production services--including project implementation for script adapting, casting, directing, recording, mixing, and all necessary post-production servicesExperience with selling or managing subtitling, closed captioning, graphic editing and DVD-authoring projectsUnderstanding of industry lingo and technical media production terminologyIndustry contactsEffective time management skillsWorking knowledge of Pro Tools, Avid or other audio and video editing software a plus, but not required If you think you have what it takes to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rewarding environment, click here
