Job Description:
Structure and negotiate business partnerships in support of Gannett Digital\'s Mobile team, working with carriers, platform providers, ad networks, and content providers. o Perform market research related to potential business partners, vendors and strategic relationships. Identify opportunities for growth of Gannett\'s mobile businesses and develop recommendations for new initiatives, alliances and partnerships. o Assess proposals from potential partners and suppliers as they are received. o Conduct business and operational planning and analysis, including ROI analysis on opportunities to determine potential for success and level of prioritization. o Manage partner/vendor relationships. o Coordinate and collaborate with other Gannett teams (within and outside Gannett Digital) on the development of mobile strategies. o Work with the field, corporate legal, corporate finance and other areas of expertise where needed to execute or analyze potential partnerships. Requirements Qualifications o College degree required, MBA preferred. o Minimum 3 years experience negotiating contracts and doing business planning/modeling. o Knowledge of the online media industry from the perspectives of advertisers, users and publishers. o Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Must be able to communicate and negotiate with a wide variety of co-workers and potential business partners. o Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills. o Proven ability to identify critical issues, prioritize appropriately, and execute quickly. o Candidates must be proactive, innovative, collaborative, and driven to achieve desired results. Must be passionate about solving problems for users, advertisers and publishers.
