Job Description:
The Palm Beach Post is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Advertising management team. This position includes responsibility for all of the major classified segments (Real Estate, Recruitment, Automotive, and Merchandise); as well as the Call Center, Private Party operations and Digital Sales. NOTES: US Residents Only Requirements The qualified candidate should have: -An undergraduate degree from a four-year university (or related work experience); -A minimum of five years' experience in newspaper Advertising sales management, preferably with experience in on-line and other media sales; -Excellent verbal skills with experience in report writing, budget narratives, performance evaluations and business correspondence; -A thorough working knowledge of PC word processing and spreadsheet programs; -Proven revenue creation skills; -Proficiency in building and retaining high-performing teams. -Experience with DTI a plus. Much work has been done recently to make our Classified organization an agile and customer-centric organization. This includes an expansive extension of our product lines and numerous product enhancements. The qualified candidate will be expected to continue our momentum in building multi-media solutions, and improving our selling and pricing strategies to insure continued growth and market leadership.
