The purpose of this position is to provide strategic & tactical sales leadership and direction to the Global Choice Business Unit (GCU) in order to rapidly grow UHI and Bupa's US expatriate medical insurance business. This is an opportunity to play a significant role within UnitedHealth International and to develop an international career. Main responsibilities will include sales, account management, and the overall operations of the unit. Sales responsibilities will include working with other CMG business segments (Uniprise and Key Accounts), brokers, and consultants. Accountable for infrastructure, internal and external relationships that will include BUPA International, financial management and adherence to operational metrics. Responsibilities: * Provide strong strategic and tactical business leadership with the end result of meeting defined sales targets and business goals * Identification of major sales opportunities and drive consistency of sales performance * Manage and develop team members of the GCU * Effectively build relationships with other UHG business segments and BUPA and position GCU across those segments/Bupa to achieve goals set by the management committee. * Effectively lead matrixed team * Accountable for financial management, operational metrics, internal & external compliance and external relationships. Qualifications * Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in healthcare field, business or related field.
