Role/Purpose: The BDM plans and conducts sales activities to exceed assigned quotas for 3D Mechanical Design-Based Total Solutions and to drive new business. The BDM is a hunter, who uncovers and pursues qualified leads through a solution-selling process to deliver significant business value to our clients. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a hunter position focused on qualifying and pursuing 3D-Based Solutions for our Manufacturing, Engineering, and Design clients. The BDM will develop an understanding of the decision-making processes of our prospects, conduct process assessments, develop strong value propositions, and deliver business solution presentations to executive decision-makers. The Business Development Managers goal is to achieve and exceed quarterly quota targets by delivering a clear and consistent value proposition and by helping our customers improve their design chain processes. The successful Business Development Manager will: 1. Have an understanding of the design and manufacturing process and industry; 2. Be comfortable in business discussions with Sr. Management and Executives.
