Job Description:

Develop annual Plans and Goals in partnership with the Individual product line leaders. 3. Direct the analysis of actual Individual Life product line earnings to compare with earnings goals and other earnings projections. Provide management an analysis of: - goal earnings by quarter, identifying certain seasonal impacts - goal earnings by source of gain to understand the impact of goal assumptions - earnings by source of gain, explaining why actual earnings differ from goal and other projected earnings 4. Oversee the preparation of all quarterly and annual statement and federal income tax data for the Individual Life product line to ensure accurate financial information. 5. Direct the preparation of all items for the GAAP and Statutory statement (blue book). This includes balance sheet, income statement, and numerous exhibits. 6. Provide financial information reported on Economic Valuation Bases to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. 7. Respond to all questions from internal auditors and accountants and external auditors.
