Work closely with many areas across the firm, including the Corporate Controllers area, Reinsurance areas and the Individual Business CFO area. Principal responsibilities include: Manage the monthly and quarterly close process for calculating, analyzing and reporting all traditional life GAAP, Statutory and Tax reserves, and DAC on FAS 60 life products; continuously review policy data and reserve calculations to ensure accuracy of data and of reporting; conduct proper analysis of valuation results to ensure quality of reporting and to gain insight into business; assist with explaining all relevant reserve changes; ensure proper documentation of all procedures and policies; maintain an appropriate.
