Our client is one of the most recognized leaders in the manufacture of quality food products in the world.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the Quality Assurance Department in a large unionized manufacturing facility. Ensure all products are safe and wholesome and that all USDA mandated programs are in place and functioning per regulation. Provide leadership for ISO functions in the plant. Responsible for managing internal, customer, and vendor audits as well as maintaining good working relationships with USDA and FDA. Properly interview, train, motivate and discipline associates.
Compensation:
Base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits. Relocation package provided.

Job Requirements:
Background:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field and a minimum of six years experience in a food processing facility. ISO experience is required and must have complete knowledge of USDA, FDA, HACCP, and GMP requirements. Must have good computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
