We have been retained by our client, in their search for an End User Computing Analyst, this is a full time permanent opportunity! Located in Ballston Spa, NY. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
This is a great opportunity with a stable growing company. They offer an excellent benefits and training package. The hours are Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm, flexibility in hours, no on call hours are required.
Responsibilities:
• Works with end users in department for the IT/Applications/Systems needs, so if a department needs a modification to an application or a new system/application built on a smaller scale this person would do it.
• Create new and/or modify existing software and databases to meet business requirements including intranet site development, as well as the design, coding, testing, implementing, and formal acceptance of business solutions
• Make modifications to existing code
• Analyze the business/system requirements and develop technical specifications for business applications
• Provide high level design solutions, problem resolution, long-term maintenance, and enhancement services for custom developed business applications using
• Enterprise development tool-sets
• Research and apply new technology trends as it relates to the End User Computing (EUC) development environment
Job Requirements:
Required Experience/Education:
• Need to have working knowledge of the following technologies/concepts: JavaScript; cascading style sheets (CSS); XML; HTML; Visual Basic; Active Server Pages (ASP) or ASP.net; ADO; SQL/Transact-SQL; COM/MTS; Windows XP Operating System including Microsoft Access
• Participation in company-sponsored and approved professional and developmental course
• Demonstrates competent work on assignments, but may require assistance and guidance on increasingly complex work.
• Assists with analyzing, documenting, and presenting functional application specifications.
• Applies fundamental knowledge of web development to create, modify, and maintain websites with guidance.
• Develops/applies a fundamental knowledge of standard relational database design and development procedures.
• Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of application development tools, set of components, processes, and technical architecture.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and supports small applications with general direction.
• Handles and resolves routine problems.
• Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of department workflow, policies, departmental goals, and mission.
• Works directly with end users in the project and development cycles.
• Builds effective working relationships with business partners.
• Simultaneously balances workload across concurrent project assignments.
• Job may require travel via commercial transportation and/or driving a motor vehicle to project sites, regions and field offices 25% or less.
