Engineer/Scientist 1 or 2 Job

The qualified candidate will assist with environmental/engineering tasks for site investigation and remediation projects. Responsibilities include preparation of environmental site assessments, data management, analytical data evaluation, preparation of regulatory documents and technical reports, project coordination, soil classification, soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, drilling, construction and other subcontractor oversight. Remedial tasks would also include developing work plans, supporting field pilot test activities, preparation of engineering plans and specifications, system installation and modifications.

Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong field and writing skills to support a wide range of science and engineering projects. Candidates must also have excellent verbal communication skills combined with leadership ability, a positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within teams.

o 0-4 years' experience in environmental consulting.

o B.A. or B.S. (Geology, Environmental Science or Engineering).

o Masters Degree preferred.

o Excellent writing and communication skills.

o Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and database software preferred.

o 40 hour OSHA training is a plus.
