Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical expertise to the design, development, and implementation of full service IT customer support programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, trends, and pattern in customer usage, and systemic problems. Working closely with representatives in user divisions to identify and define systems requirements and standards of systems performance. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of new technology and other developments in the field of information technology. Leads rapid response teams to resolve or mitigate systems and/or equipment failures resulting from emergency situations. Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot systems and equipment for customers served. Provides advisory, planning, and customer assistance services throughout the life cycle of automated systems used by all organizational elements. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade, GS-13, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the work of the position to be filled, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience includes but is not limited to: Expert professional competence, knowledge and analytical skill sufficient to review issues, plan, develop and conduct studies and projects, and provide recommendations.
