Job Description:
To coordinate surveillance findings with the TPA and HR, as appropriate, in pursuing the termination of a claim, as well as separation from employment, if warranted. To contribute to the ongoing efficiency of the Disability Department by recommending policy, developing pertinent procedures and regularly reviewing procedural and policy application to ensure procedural and policy compliance, as well as maximum utilization of technology and its associated efficiencies and productivity gains. To regularly solicit input from the Disability/Leave Administrators regarding issues they encounter and any suggestions they might have regarding administration and customer service. To supervise Disability and LOA procedures and processes according to guidelines established by departmental management to comply with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. To interface with state regulatory agencies, as appropriate, in the administration of Disability claims in New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
