This will entail a focus on providing high quality service to existing clients through the expansion of enrollment in MERS member offerings, and identifying and cultivating new member relationships. This position will be responsible for the continuing account management and service of existing and new clients including but not limited to: arranging and conducting client meetings, overseeing all client sales and service activities, communicating and guiding implementation of new products and services, participating in prospect meetings, conducting final presentations and site visits, and working effectively to coordinate activities with internal cross-functional team members. The Director of Business Development is responsible for managing the client relationship with all employers in the state and is responsible for ensuring strong regional teams with staff in OMES and other areas of MERS. This position will also supervise and direct Regional Managers in the implementation of business development initiatives and continuing account management/service of existing and new clients.
