Performs targeted sales activities for a defined client pool including but not limited to: Contacts prospective customers to determine their needs and degree of interest in company's products and services, and time frame for performance of these services; Customizes and performs sales presentations and ensures needed resources are available for effective demos; Generates new opportunities from leads; Develops action programs for accounts; Maintains close communication with internal departments regarding client management strategy for current projects; Maintains account profiles; Researches and evaluates competitive sales situations and customer sensitivities; Identifies and qualifies customer needs; Maintains positive customer interaction to maximize the Averion International relationship, customer satisfaction and obtain new sales; Prepares reports as required; Keeps abreast of competitor activities. Participates in trade shows, conferences and seminars; targets prospects per event; identifies and secures resources. -Remains abreast of company's products and services in order to contribute to department activities. Manages the daily operations of the department including but not limited to: Accurately forecasts monthly and quarterly sales.; Participates and strategizes in professional account management activities.
