Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Research competitive product capabilities and go to market approaches including pricing. - Collect and analyze field data to identify competitive activity. - Review and analyze pricing trends, including deal flow, discounting levels and mix tactics. - Update and maintain field tools and company intranet available to key sales channels. - Create business cases and pricing strategies to present to senior management. - Manage the price approval process as routed through each department to ensure successful implementation. - Summarize/communicate analytic findings and recommendations via executive-level summary documents and presentations. - Support product marketing efforts for field enablement, content development, and product launch. - Creation of training programs for field sales. - Support Product Marketers with key deliverables. - Write draft white papers and collateral. - Present to customers and prospects where appropriate. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree is required. Experience with research in school using statistical tools a plus. - 5-7 years of professional experience in an analytical environment preferably in marketing, finance, or market research/data analysis. - Experience as a software sales engineer with interest in moving into marketing role. - Experience developing marketing and financial metrics. - Experience building forecasts. - Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills required along with stron
