In this role, you will be serve as the Project Manager to provide management, coordination and technical assistance in support of the a major Federal disaster response and recovery program. The program provides grants to state/local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations in the U.S.and its territories to assist in the recovery from federally-declared disaster events. As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Project Officer in Charge and will: Direct and implement contractor-Technical Assistance Contract (TAC) operations Be prepared to participate in pre- and post-disaster response and recovery planning/operations Provide policy development and analysis support Be responsible for program and fiscal management Monitor and maintain program regulatory and disaster specific compliance Write and approve task orders/scope of work Interface and maintain relationships with clients and FEMA HQ and field locations Maintain active communication lines with field staff regarding current policies and deployment requirements Recommend and execute corrective actions when necessary Make staffing decisions for task orders which involves working with the human resources division and subcontract management teams The successful candidate will have the following:
