Project Manager Sr (Applications) Project ManagerPosition Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of information technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to Telco technology projects. Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Is responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out IT projects. Monitors project activities; ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information; and providing consistency in content look and feel across the organization. The individual occupying this position works with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available technologies, compare costs and benefits, develop project cost estimates, and recommend solutions, and other pre-sales activities. The individual will be responsible to ensure that project results meet customer expectations and adhere to internal standards and strategies. Responsibilities: * Leadership of individual projects / pre-sales - will be 50/50 mix. * Management of the project team, to include individual employee performance appraisals * Management of cost, schedule, performance, and risk parameters * Assess the customer requirements; analyze the architecture of business events and data that supports the architecture; evaluates possible solutions; and presents recommendations to IT management.
