The Project Manager will be responsible for managing or leading a prioritized project from concept all the way through to a post-implementation review - The Project Manager must be a delivery-focused, hands-on manager, who will add value by dint of knowledge and ability to question the content and quality of work delivered on the project - The Project Manager will be responsible for compliance to the WSS Project Delivery Framework Qualifications Essential: - A Project Manager with demonstrably excellent project management skills - Desire to work in an exciting business focused environment where he/she can influence the future success of the group Excellent written and verbal communication; Good interpersonal skills - Solid technical background either from Development or Systems Analysis - Solid understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Project - Has an understanding of at least one area of Wholesale Banking or Securities Lending - BA degree - A willingness to travel to Bournemouth, London, Dallas and/or Sydney should a project require this - Advantageous: - Experience and skills in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Oracle, Websphere - PMI/PMP, APM or PRINCE Accreditation - Experience managing out-sourced/vendor based developments, or a geographically dispersed project team - Working knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated, preferably familiar with Level 2/3. - Experience of any of the following: Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Clearance
