Job Description:

A company specializing in transit/rail, highways and bridges, marine, airports, and energy infrastructure seeks a Technical Director with 15+ years of experience as a transportation engineer. The candidate will be responsible for the quality of technical work produced within the office. Providing hands-on review of deliverables as necessary and provide day-to-day technical guidance in support of discipline department managers. Monitor and support discipline department managers and project managers. Facilitate communication between discipline managers and project managers. Coordination and approval of training activities and software/reference material purchases. Also will communicate technical and risk issues to corporate office. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a professional civil engineer license (PE). Requires well rounded background in the delivery of transportation projects. Must be committed to quality and enjoy mentoring technical staff. Experience with ISO9001 Practices and interdisciplinary coordination preferred.
