Job Description:
 A not-for-profit health plan dedicated to providing Californians with access to high-quality health care at a reasonable price seeks an intermediate or senior Healthcare Analytics Business Analyst with 3+ years’ relevant experience. The network management team is responsible for developing and maintaining the relationship with organization’s network of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, HMO IPA's, and medical groups. This position is charged with delivery, development, implementation and maintenance of tools and reports associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of information for planning and decision making. Will perform competitive analyses and generate corresponding reports to provide insights in support of network strategy. Analyze data and complex problems related to information systems methods and procedures within network management, documenting problems and changes as required, and resolve issues, which may involve working with other departments and communicate changes to appropriate departments and collaborate with other stakeholders and analysts to develop improvements, modifications and enhancements. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems related to automated systems and operations. VB Script experience desired. Financial and/or healthcare analytics experience a plus, including work with provider reimbursement methodologies.
