Contractor is seeking a talented, senior-level Estimator to join their growing team. Company specializes in new construction and fit-outs in commercial, retail, educational and institutional construction.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Estimators are expected to be able to accomplish the following:-Review all documents and site conditions to become familiar with project.-Communicate with clients, engineers, and all team members.-Direct or implement collection of all project data for project files.-Review all estimate data to provide continuity and direction for a project.-Develop accurate and clear cost estimates based on project data.-Travel to clients and deliver estimate report presentations.-Act as a QA/QC delegate for other projects you are not necessarily directly involved with.-Supervise and guide a team of junior cost personnel.-Maintain a computerized construction cost database for use by estimating and construction managers along with other team members.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:-4 year college degree (BS) and 7-10 years of cost estimating experience in commercial construction/general contracting is required.-Demonstrate MS Word Processing and Excel Spreadsheet proficiency as well as Estimating and Scheduling software proficiency
