Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing cost estimates and schedules for global projects, all aspects of project management from design development, construction management, fit up, and relocation. Also manages the reinstatement of vacated premises and responsible for asset transfer and management. This position manages a variety of Real Estate scenarios including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, expansions and consolidations. Success in this position hinges on the ability to manage varied Real Estate & Construction scenarios under established schedules and budgets. Position Objectives: Provide financial input to the Symantec Finance group. Partner with the Symantec Real Estate/Facilities/Security groups and other internal Symantec groups to successfully manage and deliver construction projects within budget and on schedule. Understand Real Estate objectives and timelines; use this information to successfully manage the build out and relocation of Symantec offices.Responsibilities: - Develop project cost estimates and schedules for projects globally- Direct the programming, design, engineering and construction of space globally- Liaison with Procurement and Legal on resource selection and contract negotiation-
