Job Description:
The Development and Alumni Relations department is responsible for all alumni relations and fundraising activity for the Haas School of Business. Our department offers a supportive work environment and is comprised of friendly people who are team-oriented. This is a great career opportunity because the University is moving into a major capital campaign.Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Relations, the Senior Director of Major Gifts is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift-level prospective donors, defined as individuals capable of contributing $100,000 or more to the Haas School of Business. This position has responsibility for developing and managing Haas relationships with its valued supporters, and must ensure that these relationships are nurtured and maintained for the benefit of the Haas School of Business over time. The Senior Director will be assigned a specific portfolio of prospects that have the potential to give to the Haas School of Business at the major gift level. The candidate must have advanced knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, and public relations.
