Job Description:
ROMER OPERATOR – (PORTABLE FARO ARM OPERATOR / CMM)

Objective
The incumbent enhances the receiving inspection function of AQS by providing customers with technical
data related to supplier quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•Administer previously created programs
•Create new software programs in accordance with customer blueprints and customer specifications
•Qualify and operate sensitive equipment in a controlled laboratory environment
•Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:
Requirements & Competencies

•Must have Windows and computer network navigation skills
•Must be self-motivated
•Must be able to work in a team environment
•Must be capable of working under pressure
•Experience with Romer or Faro measuring arms, or equivalent manual DCC CMM
•Knowledge of contact and non-contact inspection techniques
•Ability to program and operate PC DMIS 4.0, Power INSPECT, Supravision, DOCS, or similar programs
•Strong understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing)
•Excellent blueprint reading skills
•Problem solving techniques

Education & Experience

•Must have AQS auditor experience
•Must have formal training in WQS, blueprint reading, and AQS policies and procedures
•Must have demonstrated problem solving skills
