Job Description:
Work closely with the entire design staff and with the Principal. Be involved as the technical lead in the conceptualization, development, and refinement of the total design for Interior Architecture/Architecture of each project (in coordination with the FF&A Designer). Works with Principal to develop the technical end of the design and prepare project deliverables (Design and Contract documents). Assist in Construction Administration. Work with Designers to come up with the technical solutions to make the design functional that "pushes the envelop". Use your wide knowledge of codes to bring design to life. Champion the quality and teamwork of the office. Uphold the creativity with bringing new and fresh ideas to design in areas of Interior Architecture in the Night Club segment. Job Requirements:
5 years experience as Architect or Interior Architect focusing on INTERIORS
Strong technical knowledge of codes and documentation for night club, restaurant or retail design
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, built ins, ceiling plans, fire codes, ADA codes, etc.
Prior experience is Night Club design a plus
Ability to work in a group environment
Thirve in a NON-CORPORATE environment
Love to crank out documentation and CD sets
Love to be in communication with the Architect of Record for projects
