Responsible for all construction field related activities, which includes management of all superintendents, assistant superintendents, area managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist Construction Manager in the duties/processes listed below: - Hiring, managing and terminating Construction personnel - Oversee all field operations - Oversee all plan ordering and permitting - Develop department overhead budget - Develop and implement incentive programs - Develop and maintain trade base - Interface with all municipal governing bodies, public utilities and industry associations - Oversee the field operation, production times and insure quality control so that the homes are ready for homeowner orientations and occupancy - Set build times on each plan and provide schedules to meet the build times - Redline plans on first time build at each subdivision - Final approval of all redlined print changes - Review vendor surveys each month before they are sent out - Visit job sites periodically to spot check quality and policy enforcement - Review survey cards weekly for construction and customer service - Attend meetings with subcontractors to discuss problems as they arise Supervisory.
