This position will be based in our Oakland Interior Architecture Studio. The Intermediate Interior Architect working in collaboration with the Project Manager, Project Designer and Job Captain will be involved in all aspects of the project from design through construction. Responsibilities of this role include: * Assist on interior projects during the initial programming, space planning and design phases * Participate in the development of construction documents and FFE specifications for projects * Participate in the contract administration phase of projects We are looking for candidates with: * Excellent knowledge of the design, detailing and production requirements for commercial interior architecture projects * Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a project team * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks * A professional degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university * 5-7 years of relevant project experience * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp & MS Office Suite (Experience with Revit desirable) * LEED Accreditation or working towards achieving Michael Willis Architects offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package including health care, participation in an employee 401-K retirement plan, continuing education program and paid vacation.
