Job Description:

Assists the courts as in-house consultant on space delivery processes, provides resources and advice on judiciary policies, and represents the courts on project teams. Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects in a large geographical area and coordinate with various agencies within the Federal government.Extensive travel within the circuit will be required. Education/Experience Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in architecture, construction management, or related field from an accredited college or university. Architect license preferred.Experience: Experience in developing design programs, reviewing construction documents and estimates, and resolving related issues from preliminary design through construction for complex architectural projects. Familiarity with courthouse or other public sector construction projects and with the Federal General Services Administration regulations desirable. At least five (5) years related technical/specialized experience in the field of architecture and/or construction. This experience must be in project management/facilities with thorough knowledge and familiarity of the design and construction process in a wide range of projects. Appropriate educational substitutions may be credited as one year of experience.
