Job Description:

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for: Directing the operations of the inventory control teammates. Maintaining the integrity of the inventory in the facility through cycle counts, audits and physical inventories. Responsible for the credibility of the inventory to the customers. Facilitating and overseeing teammate training in the various inventory processes. Adhering to and helping to develop and revise SOP's, especially those concerning inventory control. Maintaining product locator system, helping in evaluating space utilization and providing assistance in creating storage space. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of inventory adjustments and reconciliations. Providing assistance on special projects as required. Other duties as required. Required Skills The successful candidate will have: A degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred. Two (2) to four (4) years in a logistics supervisory capacity. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Professional communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively interact with GENCO customers and employees. Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency. Detail oriented. Prior experience with receiving and/or inventory control functions and processes. In-depth knowledge and user experience with WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel and Access. Must have the ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
