Job Description:

Information Technology professional who manages the IT component of Supply Chain operations projects. Responsible for one or many projects of varying size and complexity. Works with the business project lead, the IT department and third party vendors to plan and manage project progress, resources, risks, change management and project communications. Delivers and implements the solution as defined by the requirements definition and the project scope. Responsible for adherence to the budget, schedule, scope, quality, and business metrics as defined in the project definition document. A team player who supports the fundamentals of project management, maintaining a high level perspective and balancing project requirements with other priorities across the business. Responsible for communicating project status to all project stakeholders on a regular basis. Ensures that Quality Assurance is an inherent part of the project. Provides subject matter expertise in Information Technology. Works with the IT Technology Delivery management to: Define and manage the IT resources for the project Execute the project schedule Define and implement training and testing strategies Manage ongoing project risks Works with the Service Delivery team to review: Technical infrastructure impact and sizing assessment for project Operational support requirements Skills / Qualities: Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective communication of business and technical information across the organization, tailored to the unique needs of each audience Mastery of multiple communication formats (verbal, written, presentation, technical) Group facilitation experience Problem Solving: Identifies and implements viable solutions Collaborates with IT and business personnel to resolve problems Works cross-functionally and thinks both tactically and strategically Creatively assesses business and technical problems Leadership: Effectively uses teamwork to build a high-morale/high-performance team culture Leads by example Coordinates, delegates and facilitates project tasks Fosters trust between IT and business units Drives for results Displays a positive attitude Demonstrates strong personal integrity Establishes direction, aligns people to tasks, motivates and inspires project team.
