Job Description:
Implement a leading, global shared service capability. Focused on customer service, spend productivity and quality of service. · Shared services being defined as Travel, Consulting Services, Telecommunication/Cellular, Relocation, American Express/Card Service or any other shared services. · Develop a spend management and optimization to investigate, track and report the world-wide use of shared services. · Develop and implement a strategy to support five year growth for shared services. · Manage the RFP to contract process for new and existing shared service providers. · Propose and negotiate long term agreements and annual price agreements with current suppliers to assure supply of shared services at competitive costs. · Provide strategic direction entities to coordinate the use and availability of the shared services from approved suppliers to meet requirements. · Manage one or more Key Supplier Account Specialist(s) and Market Analyst(s). Experience · 10 plus years experience in an international position managing the supply or purchasing of the shared services. · Additional experience in Commodity Operations or Customer Support is an advantage. · Seasoned global commodity management professional · Proven track record in building a global commodity management organization · Demonstrated results and track record for formulating and executing a long term strategic commodity plans · Demonstrated ability to build strategic alliances with a partner base based on win-wins and partnering rather than “strong arming” the supply base · Experience with rapid growth business and scaling the business Demonstrated experience in planning management. · Demonstrated experience in negotiating with internal and external organizations · Knowledge of Commodity operations in an international environment. Education · Four year college degree in Business or related fields or equivalent. · Demonstrated capability to build and grow a global commodity management team · Experience with strategic partnering and strategic alliances – ability to construct, negotiate and execute supply contractual agreements · Ability to construct a strategic plan for a global commodity · Strong negotiation skills · Good balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution · Quick learner and ability to grow and scale with the business · Ability to collaborate cross-functionally · Knowledge of continuous improvement, quality management and supply base management processes.
