Job Description:
Under minimal supervision sets up and operates cold heading machines to form stems as specified by work order. Reviews work orders to determine set up,
tooling and specifications of parts to be headed on either hot or cold heading machine.

Job Requirements:
Set up and operate hot heading machines for multiple die and multiple blow metal forming to form stems, inserts, etc, as specified by work orders blueprints, and/or drawings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews work order to determine set up, tooling and specifications of parts.
Operates production equipment to produce parts, ensuring that wire (raw material) is formed into dimensions specified in the requested print.
Inspects parts during production to ensure compliance with quality
Maintains preventive maintenance and a clean and safe work area.
Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations.
Reads all MSDS and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements.
